Schon beim Qualifying des \u00fcberschaubaren Starterfeldes von 5 Fahrzeugen zeigte sich schon, dass es ein schnelles Rennen werden sollte. Bei einer Spannung von 12 V bewegten sich die Bestzeiten\u00a0 knapp \u00fcber 10 Sekunden. Arnim schaffte im Rennen dann als erster, auf Spur 3 mit 9,966 Sekunden die 10er Marke zu knacken.
